About the client

A founder-led, sector-agnostic micro-VC fund in India that backs pre-seed and seed startups, with cheques of up to $750K and help beyond capital: investor introductions, strategic connections and go-to-market support. Fund 1 has a portfolio of 20 companies, and Fund 2 launched in September 2025.

The brief

Warmup’s LPs and partners wanted to follow what the fund is doing: which startups it’s reviewing, how the portfolio is doing, what’s new. Without chasing emails.

The team wanted sourcing, onboarding, follow-ups and reporting off their plate. So the platform lives on WhatsApp and the web, with agents doing the admin in the background.

How a new LP gets onboarded

    A new LP or partner is invited

    They get a welcome message on WhatsApp from the onboarding agent.

    The agent onboards them, step by step

    It collects their details and documents in the chat, and chases what’s missing.

    The team approves access

    One check by the Warmup team, and they’re on the platform.

    They follow the fund

    Startups under review, portfolio companies and updates, and an assistant to ask about any of it.
